Optical USB and PS2 Mice

Mouse, hhhhmmm now unless you have a touch screen PC, you will need an input device such as a PS2 or USB mouse to use your PC to its best ability. We have quite a selection of mice, as seen below. They range from the budget models to gaming mice that are designed for a specific role. Of course the variety is bewildering but usually comes down to a couple of things cordless wireless or not.
More often than not these days all mice use Laser technology. An optical mouse is far more responsive and doesn't suffer the problem of older ball mice of getting messy inside the mouse, which made the mouse difficult to use.
USB Mice: As the name suggests a USB mouse will plug into a USB port on your computer. These tend to be the most popular versions.
PS2 Mice: Ah the faithful PS2 connection, been around for years, and still going strong. A PS2 connection uses hardware to make it work unlike USB which uses software to make it go.
